Teeth White Home Cheap Whitening Bleach Baking Soda Peroxide Lemon Oil Pulling Bright

Having a bright white smile can instantly improve your appearance and confidence. While some people choose to pay hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars on bleaching procedures that are performed by dental professionals, teeth can also be whitened from home at a much lower cost. These simple techniques will help you obtain that white smile without having to fork over a chunk of your life savings.

Hydrogen peroxide/baking soda toothpaste

Instead of purchasing a whitening toothpaste, a simple mixture of these two household items is found to be equally effective at removing stains and brightening your teeth. Be sure to avoid swallowing while brushing, and try not to use this paste every day as it can be irritating on your gums with excessive use.

Oil Pulling

Oil pulling is believed to help remove stains and improve gum health by forcing toxins out of the mouth. With the removal of these toxins, teeth become healthier and more vibrant (and white). To oil pull simply purchase a bottle of cold pressed or refined sesame or sunflower oil (whichever is cheaper), and simply swish a tablespoon of this product around in the mouth for a 15 minute span at least once per day. It is best to oil pull in the morning before eating breakfast or brushing your teeth. After spitting out the oil be sure to rinse your mouth out with water to remove any of the toxins that were released into your mouth. Not only will this technique whiten your teeth, but your gums will look more healthy as well! The best part about this technique is that unlike most other at home or in office whitening programs there is no negative side effects and it is easy on your gums and enamel.

Lemon Juice

If your teeth are sensitive or the hydrogen peroxide/baking soda paste irritates your gums, try brushing with lemon juice instead. This product may be less irritating on the gums, but it also may strip away calcium from the teeth making them weaker so as with the hydrogen peroxide baking soda solution try to use this technique sparingly.

Although all of these techniques may help you achieve that white smile that you desire, each should be discontinued at the first sign of negative side effects. By far the best and safest way to whiten your teeth is to take proper care in brushing and flossing and preventing stains before they occur. This includes avoiding things like tea, coffee, tobacco products, bright juices, and soda. By brushing effectively and making regular trips to the dentist for cleaning, having white teeth does not need to be costly or unhealthy.
