Simple Tips for Losing Weight

Everyone is constantly searching for simple tips to drop unwanted weight. They want quick fixes, fast solutions and they want to lose weight quickly as well as effortlessly. Unfortunately, I’m here to tell you that there are no quick fixes or immediate solutions. However, there are some simple tips that can help you lose weight but they do take some time. Give yourself three weeks before you compare your body to its previous look.

The first simple tip I’m going to give you is my personal favorite tip. It’s harder to follow although it is not time-consuming but it really works wonders particularly for your stomach. Don’t eat after 7:00p.m. You heard me. Of course this is just a guideline. Don’t eat three hours before you go to bed. I don’t remember the scientific details behind why this approach works but it does. It is an easy way to lose weight and to help slim down your stomach and it requires minimal effort. Just don’t eat. Watch television or read instead.

The second simple tip I’m gong to give you is one that many people don’t want to hear but they need to. It’s one word: Cardio. Without cardio, you can never really have a perfect body. You could potentially make yourself stick-thin but you won’t have a healthy thin body with little bits (not bulky) of muscle and if you eat anything sweet you’ll lose your thin body. With cardio, you are able to indulge in a desert a day, other wise eat healthy, and remain in good condition. Cardio is one of the most important parts of losing weight and it is something that can be fun to do. It also releases healthy endorphins making you happier as well even if you are annoyed the entire time you are working out. It’s also been scientifically proven to reduce stress. Good examples of cardio (get your heart rate up!) include: running (the best), jump-roping, swimming laps fast, biking, etc.

Walk two miles a day. Even if you are doing cardio, try to etiher take your dog for a walk or walk with a friend. You can even do what I do and walk slowly on the treadmill while talking on the phone or outside if the weather is nice. This helps to burn calories without making you sore or without putting too much stress on your body, especially if you have just added cardio to your workout. Even two extra miles of walking a day (while without cardio, will not help you lose a lot of weight) is just a great supplement to keeping yourself healthy.
