Chicken breast

Chicken is a food favored by many athletes, body builders and dieters. It’s packed with protein that helps your muscles recover and grow, and it keeps you full so that you don’t overeat between and at meal times. A serving of chicken breast contains about 25g of protein. Enjoy a piece at lunch on your sandwich or at dinner with your salad.


Fish is an important part of a balanced healthy diet. It’s not just good because of its omega-3 content, but also for the amount of protein it contains per serving. With 20g of protein per serving it’s a food you should include twice per week into your diet. It will give you nutrients you need and help you lose weight.

Lean beef

With about 25g of protein per serving lean beef is another protein rich food for dieters to include in their daily meal plans. Eat it less often than fish and go for the eye fillet.
