That totally depends on what you want to eat. If eating what you want simply translates to pigging out on cake and ice cream, then u you won’t be losing a lot of weight. On the flip-side, if what you want is fruit and seeds and nuts and lean meats than I’d imagine you could lose a bit of weight. A lot of people make the mistake of assuming that they can eat potato chips and ice cream sandwiches, and do a few ab crunches to work it all of. To be honest, a healthy diet is much more important than exercising. Exercising is mostly used to burn calories, yet if you eat healthier than there won’t be any calories to burn! The best diet a person can get consists of 1800-2000 calories a day. For breakfast, cereal with toast is a healthy choice.
Make sure the cereal has at least 5 grams of protein and fiber and less than 5 grams of sugar. For lunch, have some chicken or fish with a side of steamed vegetables (I know, ewwww, but it’s extremely healthy and full of fiber) and some juice. for dinner, have some pork or beef with potatoes and some bread, and milk. This may not be what you want to eat, but it’s the best for you and therefore should be what you eat.
Have one “diet-free” day, where you can eat whatever you want. I don’t mean that you should chow down on junk food, but to have something you’ve been craving. Many people come off a diet just because they can’t stand having to have the same thing every day, so having an off day keeps your diet well-balanced.
Now, you may have heard about Nutrisystem, or products of that kind. Honestly, it’s the same stuff you can get all the stuff they use at the grocery store. they just make it seem like their food is magical, yet in reality it’s just more expensive. If you’re diabetic, you can’t really eat what you want at all. My mother has been diabetic since birth, and can’t even eat a chocolate bar without going into shock. On the subject of indulging: eating chocolate bars, drinking soda or just eating junk food in general should be cut out of your daily life. Instead, eat granola bars, drink water and have fruit, which is naturally sweet. you can get your sugar fix without undoing your day. Also, make sure to drink plenty of water.
Many people are dehydrated so all the liguid they get is stored. When you wake up, have a glass of water. After a long night’s rest, your organs need liquid, and the closest source: your muscles. Muscles burn calories at rest, so their important. So, in sum, you can’t eat exactly what you want but you don’t need to eat everything you hate.
